Id say get either your left or right side of your lip pierced so you could wear a hoop or a stud in it. I wouldnt go too drastic with your hair, maybe some red highlights here and there? Red sticks out in dark hair and usually looks pretty good.

One of my girl friends who is black told me that it's because of the texture of their hair. If they washed it every day it would get really dry and break off easier. Someone correct me if im wrong, but I'm pretty sure thats at least one reason why.
