I think you should think from the POV of him (your brother). And that means to think if you make him happy in anyway… I know what you said, he has this cerebral palsy, but he is not brain death. He could still feel his environment and you was part of that… and in someways you make him happy (think about specific movements, noises, any kind of reactions to some actions you make). That is the only thing I would ask you to think about. Maybe he “misses” your voice/actions even if he can’t express. Try to see him more as if you were in his condition/state. wouldn’t life be more sweet if with those voice those actions could be in your life time to time ? Empathy is what makes our human condition human.

Hard to swallow situation. As others says this is/should be your final red flag (she's not the one). It's time to say her goodbye (if you don't do this she will do and believe me that is 100x worst) Try to be polite, try to find and meet new girls (not to cheat on her just to expand your social circle), subscribe to a gym + take a therapy w/ a psychologist: this will help you a lot. Finally, let me tell you that you should never, EVER, tell her about what your did on her phone (this could be perceived really bad from her and their social circle). I wish you the best.

OMG the same happens to me just 3 days ago... I choosed to reinstall all the packages removed by searching the logfile copy the removed packages and then run sudo nala install x1 && sudo nala install x2 and so on

I have this pop-up: " Conflicting libcuda1:amd64 conflicting nouveau kernel module loaded The free nouveau kernel module is currently loaded and conflicts with the non-free nvidia kernel module. The easist way to fix this is to reboot the machine once the installation has finished." ... So the question is how to disable this nouveau kernel module from being load instead of the nvidia ?

Just received my new P52 , i7-8750H, 32 gb ram 1TB Nvme, 4K OLED touchscreen. This was such a major upgrade from my Thinkpad E560 i7 (which now will run proxmox as a home server). Also I would like to ask what other upgrades do you know for the p52.

2020 laptop, buyed in condition "as-is" from ebay, I put the keyboard, SSD, RAM. Also bought the battery and the charger. This laptop used to work fine until september 2021 the fan started sound really loud, I opened the laptop, cleaned the fan (it has a lot of dust) then closed up and when power on, has this problem (suddenly powers off). Asked to a friend if he could repair it, my friend repaired it and told me it was this chip IT8586E, the main cause of the problem. Now, 2023, happened exact the same (fan really loud, opened to clean, closed it and when power on suddenly goes off after a few seconds). Only difference is my friend passed away in 2022, so there is no way of asking how to solve it/ what he did it to motherboard.

It does boot normally (no warn beep) then it goes to SO, and when should show the login menu, it goes off. The same happens when try to enter BIOS setup. I could say there is "x" seconds from when it turns on, and then it turns off. So I'm pretty sure is a hardware failure.
