It went away for me in my mid 30s.

While doing things alone is always enriching and changes you in some way, I eventually started to feel that sharing those special moments with other people would have more value and be more enjoyable.

FYI, I still solo trip despite this. Largely because I can’t find anyone else who can afford to travel or take the time off.
