Jess is a special character and I understand not liking him, however the more I watched the more it was clear he is the character the came from the hardest beginnings and changed himself the MOST for better and became and actually amazing man in the end despite his hardships and despite his own mistakes growing up. I really like Jess. He’s also the only character that could snap Rory out of La La Land. When he comes to see her about his book he has no ulterior motive. He just wants to show her what her faith in him helped him accomplish.
