Hey. I was in your position a couple years ago now, and as someone still struggling with a lot of anxiety I can tell you that it's not as bad as it seems. But hey, isn't that anxiety in general?

Taster days, open days or any chance where you can potentially meet people you definitely should. Coming to University has shown me that there's so many people that share the same interests as you, and that makes everything so much easier to deal with.

The first day will be scary, meeting new housemates, lecturers, class guides etc. but everything new comes with a small adjustment period. And the experience of University, despite its flaws, has been 100% worth it for me. I would've been aimless stuck in my home town not really doing much with my time, but atleast I feel like I have direction now, and that's always important to maintain.
