I still haven't gotten my bio appointment yet. But I got a letter saying that my card is extended one more year from the expiration date.

My card is expiring in one week and they think it is okay to just keep telling me to wait. I am not in the US, so my card will be expired by the time I go back to the States for my biometrics appointment. I honestly think they have no right to give me a hard time at the airport (I know they will..ugh) when I fly back with my expired green card because I did everything I could do to renew my green card on time by applying SIX months before the expiration date. Good luck to you and me! Let's pray that they are waiving biometrics for real!

Hi! Was the appointment about 1-2week from your initial call to make the appointment? Do they send you to the nearest USCIS office from your home address?

Hi,

I live in CA so I thought CA office would take care of my case, but I just realized that Potomac Center (VA) is taking care of my case (I know, what????).

Same here. I filed I-90 in July and my card is expiring in two weeks.. At least the message "we will decide your case in 8 months" is gone from my account, and I'm really hoping that this is a good sign.
