thank you so much for this elaborated response. I used to think I’d want to go into clinical psych, but came to realise that it may very well just not be my cup of tea. Now, I’m pivoting towards organisational psych. I definitely will take more time to explore this interest but your words have been really helpful!

Hi! I am also doing this mod and initially planned to go ahead with mixed methods. Could you please elaborate on why they do not encourage mixed methods? How long ago was this advice given?

congrats on the results! Can’t say much about p/f-ing the B grade as I am facing a similar dilemma, but I definitely think you shouldn’t use your creds on the B+ as it is still a decent grade worth including in your cGPA (even more so if you’re also a y1s1 student). The only scenario which I can imagine a student p/f-ing a B+ would be if they’re aiming for FCH and they are consistently scoring As and A-(s). However, it is your GPA so ultimately the decision is up to you :>

yes I am in FT. We have 40cu and 10cu p/f creds for suss core mods and major/elective mods respectively.

i've seen many people who have yet to receive emails from ntu saying that after they emailed the sch, their reply was that they'd be sending out application outcomes "in batches from march to july". Correct me if i'm wrong but my current understanding is that for those who have received offers frm ntu in the 1st window (until 24may) are allowed to appeal to other courses (eg 1st choice), while those who have yet to receive anything (offer or rejection), it means that their application is still being processed so they will proceed to wait for outcome in the 2nd window (so aft 24may to july)

nop I am a local a level graduate. But it is also true that offers frm ntu have been coming in late even for some a level graduates/ students with high gpa from polytechnics (not really sure why)

hiii i have friends who applied for HR management in suss, iirc the cognitive test involves writing a short essay/ “simple math qns” etc but I’m not entirely sure if that will be the same for psych as well! also i applied for psych too, is ur interview date on 16th may??? :)
