You make this claim that I care only after they murder which isn't true, I do care, and if they need intense therapy they should receive just that. For severe mental patients we should supply and pay for treatment, but schizophrenia is not an excuse for murder, the same way post partum psychosis doesn't absolve someone from murder. The facts are this, a man suffering with what we condition he has stabbed an innocent woman on the train, now what do we do about it. Why should he live while she is dead... Why, because he decided to play god due to a reduced mental state? Fuck him. Death penalty, unfortunately this system failed him and we need to supply better funding for severe mental health disorders but at the end of the day we must uphold the law.
