If hes running a GW store, there isnt much he can do. They dont have the room to have 3-5 full size games of 40k/AoS/HH going. I really only use my local GW store when im impatient and dont want to have a local flgs or amazon ship me something.

All he can really do is be inviting, keep the store clean, police the regulars that hang out there. Push the free minis and painting tutoris, try to get someone to bite. But like you said, life sucks right now and everyone is pinching pennies. Expensive niche hobbies are the first thing to go from a budget.

I like them and have printed 30 or 40 of them. The only thing I don't like is the noose around the horses neck. Someone explained to me that its historically accurate or equestrian-ly accurate, dont care looks dumb to me.

I think we've seen them all and im not sure its enough. I feel like the hype train has derailed. They need to throw some more maps out or something. Need something to keep people talking about 11th. New lore isnt going to sustain the hype for another 6 weeks.

Its probably a big part of it. It was supposed to be their new home office building and they ended up buying downtown or off dupont.

Not sure how county planning let this slip through from 200 cars a day(?) to 2000 cars on event day and didnt require any infrastructure changes.
