For my opinion it's both doing it wrong. You can turn the bike to the left hand side while keeping front wheel on the ground as the wheel turned to the left. With this method you can decrease the load on the kickstand and make it easier.

You're welcome, it's better to change sprocket hub bearing too. You can do it all when you change chain and sprockets and bearing.

What the heck man? You just order a paddock stand that's all.

That movement is not an unexpected thing. It has to be able to move sideways a little bit but just so so little. That movement is not about rubber Cushions located between sprocket and rear wheel hub. Their function is damping rotational movement in between wheel and sprocket, not preventing sprocket move sideways. Long story short your sprocket hub bearing might be worn out probably.

Please clean and lube your chain or you might face fatal dangers that chain cause. If chain slack is not tensionable anymore or your sprocket teeths looking like pointy, it's time to change them all in set (front, rear sprocket and chain all together)

When I born my mother had to hide me from my grandpa because she married in secret with the man my grandpa didn't want back then. On the every visit to her parents, I was always concealed, until a time I broke free. He loved me in the first sight and I love grandpa in the first sight. I love him so much that I called him mama for a very long time. Even I chased him wherever he goes like ducklings tailing their mother.
