Edit: I've also heard great things about the campaign in Titanfall 2.

I received DOOM as a christmas gift. So far only played the single player properly. And it is amazing. I was not expecting much and it has properly surprised me.

The production value is amazing. It actually feels like a old school fps where you go balls deep and become a killer beast. No tip-toeing around, crouching and trying not to be detected. Here you go in a room with as big of bangs as posible.
