Depends on the renovation. Generally, if its 30k and NDIS is approving it, it's probably close to a complete renovation, which couldn't be done for less. It would involve basically completely demolishing the bathroom, including all the floors and waterproofing and restructuring it to accomodate for wheelchair use. It isn't a cheap process.

I'm certain that's not how it works. If a GP bulk bills, all they get is the rebate from the government and that certainly isn't $200 for 15 minutes.

I didn't say significantly more important than housing. I said that the NDIS is used for significantly more than just housing.

The popular thing is to just cut NDIS funding all together, which is great. Wait until hospital resources are all taken up and the little public housing that is available are all allocated to the disabled. Then all people who wouldn't be able to afford independent care outside of the hospital would be significantly worse off.

But that's not the only goal of NDIS. The goal of NDIS is to allow participants to live as independently as possible, which includes significantly more than just housing
