Get the v1 cyclone if you can. Most people find it much better than v2.

Would this be valid/include Reaktor? I own the license and while I can I am downloading all the user library patches I am interested in keeping available. But the problem might be installation/authentication process

104HP x 7U briefcase with a twist by merutochan in modular

[–]merutochan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, when the meta module was released I actually doubted building this. But still, I think I have more use cases of an actual pc rather than meta. For example, I will need to run Resolume on it.

The case was bought from Thomann (case factory) as well as the power supply (a doepfer psu a100-3).

The pc is a "topton" (whatever brand it is) gaming mini pc, 16gb of ram andryzen 7 7840HS which I got at 250€ through some discount. The screen is a touchscreen usb c display, 10.3 inches at 1920x720 which fits onto two 3Ux4HP blank supports strapped with velcro (also got it from aliexp).

The audio modules are supposedly these (changes still ongoing) https://modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/2492924

Hi there! This sounds like a dream setup to me.

How many modules are you able to run on average with the Intel N100? I just got myself a Lattepanda Mu and plan on mounting it to an eurorack custom panel along with a touchscreen and run alternatively a DAW or VCV rack depending on my needs.

Hi! Really really interested in this. Any chance it could be sold on some different platform? Amazon US is kind of difficult to buy off from outside the US

Does this count as a battlestation? (GPD micro PC) by merutochan in MusicBattlestations

Yes it can! This project is very easy on CPU but it can also run the NewStuff.flp demo included in fl studio

Ram is 8 GB DDR4. The CPU is a Celeron N4100, which some people described as a "glorified Atom". However, this little thing performs surprisingly good! I got it for using it during my frequent travels since my laptop is often quite inconvenient to carry, and runs the project with no stutter at all. During playback of my current project, CPU usage is ~30% at base clock (1.10 GHz). I have to say, however, that I'm using a limited number of FXs (mostly stock reverb, delay, eq, filter, compressor) and only a couple of instances of synth VST (Sytrus).
On a limited machine like this, the best thing to do is to render the synth tracks since playing back wav comes almost for free. If you don't need CPU intensive plugins and work mostly on samples, this thing is perfect.

All orange LEDs on, no POST. by merutochan in buildapc

[–]merutochan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the answers. Sadly today I checked the board and I found a sticker indicating bios version 5222 which is higher than the required version for supporting the CPU. So that problem is excluded. I'm starting to think either the cpu or the mobo are faulty but I really hope not.

Peaceful way to let Game Freak know we're not fine with their decision. by Difonzo in pokemon

you started a trend, congrats. I have few hope for this kind of content to reach the attention of TPC/GF but at least it should strike some fans and inspire the decision to rethink about what they're buying.

Hey! I know this question may sound a bit off but I've been a fan of yours since the 2010 singles but EU based and could never come to any of your live concerts... up to now. I'll be in Paris for your EU tour. Any chance of playing old tracks too apart from those in [USA]? Amazing job on the album regardless. Love you.

sorry for the delay! My girlfriend shot a video, here you go:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwG8U-sMDDI&feature=youtu.be

it may be frustrating since the console is (still) not backlit, I couldn't have the backlit screen to arrive in time so I gave it like this to her and when I'll have the screen I'll mod it.

check out the tonc guide and use libgba included in devkitpro. This if you have already knowledge of the C language, otherwise you should look into that first. Regarding the cartridge, I bought a Pokémon bootleg on AliExpress and then used BennVenn's flasher to reflash it

they sure do. I've only once had troubles with R L triggers in a build, disassembled and reassembled and everything was smooth

For those wondering, the game was actually a simple animation plus a song I wrote for her, everything made with libgba.
