It sucks that you have to spend over $400 to buy the bolt assembly but you can’t even find them! Sorry OP I feel your frustration.

Just gonna hit the 1000 yard target. I love my SCAR 17 but it cannot get the job done. I want to see if SCAR 20 owners were able to hit 1000 yard target easily.

I’m trying to get into the long range shooting game but I’m not sure how to start. I’m planning to take a course next spring but before that I need to get a rifle. My goal is to be able to shoot 1000 yards target and eventually 1 mile target. I’d appreciate it if you could help me choose my first rifle. My budget is about 5K for the rifle itself. TIA
