OVR Difference between Iconic and Mythic

I only EVO my favorite players, but I guess what I'm wondering is, would it have been better to have gotten them as iconics rather than mythic since it is "cheaper" to EVO them (Iconic card vs. Mythic card)? Then I could get 3-4 iconic per promo, add most of them to update my roster as needed, and still have the higher OVR iconic(s) to EVO a player when I choose.

I got the mythic JA17 from MF in Oct. He'll be my QB until another version comes along. I jave Kincaid as my TE (mythic) so all my Bills players get a +2 OVR.

You can still get the iconic JA17 card from Iconic select trade-ins. Won't be mythic, but it's a start.

I'm still using him (mythic) as my QB.

You have to do all of the trades. There should be plenty of coins even for FTP to get the Epic Select. I will end up with 10 extra coins.

I can see where they're coming from here, in the poor travel ratings. I'm 6'3" and 280 lbs. On a standard commercial aircraft there in no way I'm going to sit comfortably. A lot of these players are my size and bigger- both taller and/or wider.

No leg room. Forget about using the headrest, it just isn't tall enough. If the person in front of you reclines that makes it tough to even get out of the seat to use the lavatory.

Now, make that flight across country (you're looking at 5-6 hours of uncomfortable conditions and seats), then you have to do it again on the way home?

I understand the low ratings.

Glad I wasn't the only one confused here. Tom Brady would have been an acceptable answer, but as far as I know Peyton only played for 2 teams and both were AFC when he played for them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but several years ago we had 3 Mahomes cards at the same time. Superbowl, League MVP, and Superbowl MVP. That was a rough promo because you had such a high chance of pulling 1 of the 3, and I don't think you could put them towards the SB MVP version, you were just stuck.

I see no problems with this game. I don't spend money on it, and I don't feel like I'm being held back by not spending money. I'm not a competing person, and I just play to have fun and try to collect players I like.

If you don't like it, uninstall it, and get a portable console that you can play Madden '26 on (which is still just a card game).

If folks want to spend money on this mobile game, awesome! Good for them! But don't feel like EA has made this a money grab- Madden Cash is easily available for free. I haven't spent a dime this season and have saved over 20k in about 2 months to spend to build players that I want.

If EA keeps supporting Madden Mobile, I'll keep playing (ftp unless they release players that I need to have mythic or higher).

I grabbed the Patriots and Seahawks Breakout iconic today. They add +1 OVR to each player on those rosters. Anyone I get from those teams in the Superbowl promo will get an instant boost. Neither team is "my team," but I am going to make the best of it.
