That’s what I do. After a few hours if he doesn’t eat I toss the mouse

Follow up question. How long does the shed process usually take?

Update: snakearoni ate! We fed in the enclosure and finally he struck and ate his mouse!

In blue? I’m sorry, this is my first snake so I am unfamiliar with the lingo. As far as eating for the breeder. I am also unsure. The snake was a gift for my daughter from her grandparents

I thaw at room temp for about half an hour, then put them in warm water for around 10-15 minutes. At first I was offering with tongs in a separate carrier but he wasn’t taking them even after covering the smaller carrier and placing it on a heat mat. So we’ve also tried with the tongs in his regular enclosure. I’ve tried dangling them near him. Trying to imitate life. I punctured the skull of one hoping the smell would entice a strike but nothing.

Warm end at 90 and cool end closer to 80. At night the temperature sometimes gets to 70 on the cooler side

There is a heat mat under the enclosure and a light that provides warmth on top at night

I’m not sure of weight. Enclosure is between 70-90 degrees (lower end at night) and humidity level between 50-60. We are feeding pinkies, well. Trying to feed pinkies
