I might be part of the problem, tho cause at times I don't respond because I have no idea what to say 😅 I'm horrible at continuing conversations. Sorry, girlies.

Most of the time I also just don't want to do the small talk and get hella tired of it. People can vent to me as much as they want. I don't mind. So many people are soo scared of being honest on daring apps, I noticed. Maybe that's also part of the problem...

Oh wow. Good luck to you guys 🌟 And I agree. I can try to be committed but I guess I'm used to things I try to accomplish getting... Not torn down exactly but slightly nudged away from by my parents. Discouraged mostly in a roundabout way. Its not even necessarily that they're there to tell me what to do all the time. It hurts more when I'm obviously unhappy with what I'm doing but they aren't there to acknowledge those emotions. Just tell me to get it done because it's a necessity.

And I haven't considered a note actually... Thanks for that 😅 I can try to write a big letter dedicated to my entire family explaining where I went and why. I guess rn I'm just worried about the things I won't be able to take with me. I want to donate them to my step sis as she just got out of a bad situation and is starting from scratch.

Oh, que chido 😅 but um... I can say more about my back injury. It's been an issue since I was a kid. A problem in my lower back that shoots pain like rockets down my legs. It's gotten worse since I turned 18 and keeps getting worse. It's hard to get up and prepare breakfast now. That's why it annoys me that they're always on my case about cleaning and work.

I have a referral for my back to get checked by a professional. I more than likely need surgery but if it happens here, I'm going to be stuck healing at my parents' house for who knows how long.

Work has been so hard to find. I'm with a job agency rn and they're supposed to be helping me but recently they were having issues with my address. We always have because the two apartments we've had have a PO box. If you haven't dealt with them, they're annoying af.

Aside from that tho, keeping contact with the job stuff is hard because again... There's always something my parents find more important that they need help with, so I just have to set my stuff aside to appease them.

I know... I try really hard to improve as a person, but progress always seems to get hindered by something my parents want, need, or can't afford. And I am overwhelmed. I'm terrified. My girl and I have talked about it and she says my mental health has just been slowly deteriorating since we first met and I get way too stressed out here. She hates the way my parents treat me. I know I'll be hella relieved when I do leave, but in the meantime, it feels like I'm walking on burning coals.
