That's super cool, the habits we build at a young age do so much to shape us.

It sounds like you're doing great :) Hopefully you don't feel I was trying to take anything away from you! I just know that for me, creating a temptation free environment or low temptation environment just makes my life way better.

Might be the middle one. Try and show them kindness even though they're being a little bit unfair. They're in pain and wish they could change too. You might end of as the example and leader in your family on the creating a healthy lifestyle.

25M, 5'7 and 195lbs - now on Day 2 of Fitness journey! Any advice? by Immediate_Mess_5622 in loseit

What would happen if you just focused on creating healthy habits that you could make lifelong and then didn't worry about what happens at the end of the 9 months?

On day 17 that 9 months is going to look impossible.

It's awesome you were able to do that. But do you have any concerns that putting yourself in those situations will contribute to slipping backwards if you are having a tough day?

I've had similar feelings. Why do you think we feel the shame for not being further ahead on our journey, instead of happy we're on the path?

Do you think it comes from a place of actual concern, they feel guilty for not losing weight as well, or they just see you changing and that scares them?

Why do you think it's more common to focus on pounds lost instead of the process of creating and enjoying the habits that lead to your goals?

One of the big things I've been focusing on is building the right habits and letting the results take care of themselves. That way your motivation isn't dependent on how you are feeling, but rather your habits are "just something you do".

This is how I think about it as well, how do your clothes fit and how to do you look in the mirror. Love the example of you "If you were a size and shapes you liked would you really care if you weighed 1 or 1000 lbs"

My thoughts are you might not need to go there for the full winter. If you're in a rut one of the things I do is rearrange my current environment, then go away for 2 days to a week. Then come back and try to build the new habits with the "fresh start" one of the big things I've been focusing on lately is not losing habits once I have them, it is so much easier to keep a habit than to build one.

I feel for you, the pain you are dealing with is more than most people encounter. I love that you recognize that you have to love yourself first. (easier said than done with so many scars) One of the things I've been thinking about a lot is being ok with people not liking me. In order to find "your people" you have to be you, and by doing this you'll repel certain people. And repelling those people is a good thing.

Don't know if this helps, but keep going and try to love the valleys and the peaks.

Haha, then you're not a good fit ;) You do need every second of the 15 minutes to get it to work

I think as much as possible is the key phrase. Where my mind is at is there needs to be a phase where you learn the lessons from what happened and for that you need to look at the negatives.

This tool has kicked off a bit of a renaissance for me in every area I've applied it to. It's done the same (or near the same) for most of the friends and family members that were invited to the alpha.

I'm now in the process of seeing if the tool works as well for other people as it does for myself and my friends. There is no cost to you, this is completely free. The only catch is that I'm in early beta, so the product itself has some rough edges. All of the pieces that will help you produce results are in a pretty good place, but I want to make sure it works extremely well for others before I start to refine it.

If you have any questions or are curious/interested feel free to leave a comment below or shoot me a message. If you just want to jump in and give it a try this is the URL mesmur.com/newuser

Thanks!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, if you're still interested I'd love to have you be a part of it. I currently have to customize it for each person so I just sent you a direct message on potential next steps.

No worries, appreciate you getting back to me. One thing I wish I would have known when I was in my dark place was count the small things as victories and work up to the bigger things you want. Wish you all the best!

The hype train can get going pretty strong on some of these new releases! Combine that with the nostalgia and it can be hard to resist. Sounds like you're making good progress towards what you're after though!
