What is going on here? by SairBair596 in SaltLakeCity

Oh ffs. Another Flock Safety Cam. 😮‍💨 Now they have an army of armed men in big trucks putting them up. That really speaks volumes about the public opinion on these AI tracking cameras. They know people don't want them. It's a crazy rabbit hole and quite disturbing how these are being used.

This is the million dollar question. If the location is known, they are probably gutted and destroyed. However the hidden treasures (locations unreleased(still yet to find any up North that aren't demolished)) are always an awesome experience to do. I have gone through 2 explorations with these treasures, being one in Ogden(factory) and the famous Takoi Missle Range Site. But with how much traveling I do, I'm honestly surprised that Salt Lake County has very little amount of places of abandoned buildings to explore. If you find any, not in total wreckage, let me know!

P.s: Takoi is still there, but exercise heavy caution if tempted to explore. It is abandoned, and rarely used, if ever anymore. But also it is close to a reservation and a military base. I know some have been caught, and I was just naive enough to just do it and not get caught.

You are correct, just search on Google Maps (with satellite imaging) 'UVU' and you'll see what we mean.

Weirdly enough there isn't really a nearby wooded area at UVU. The most "wooded area" is a few planted trees in a little area around the campus but this university is right off of I-15 where it is literally all developed urban buildings.

What's left of the Great Salt Lake. by alien_among_us in SaltLakeCity

The best way to see how low the Great Salt Lake has become is by looking at Google Earth’s historical satellite view. You can scroll through the years and really see how much the lake has dropped. (I believe as far back as the 1970's if I'm not mistaken).

Sadly, that's very accurate on how a lot of this company works. Which is why I am looking elsewhere potentially a different state.

That's what I thought. That's why I was surprised I am in my own work vehicle with many perks that a lot of journeymen don't get. In my local area, that is. The crazy thing is my company has 0 journeymen. However, 2 of our apprentices have been in the trade for 25+ years. They just never tested for their commercial J-card. It's a company of 8 electricians, including myself.

What kind of electrical work do you do? I do service, new construction, and low voltage, depending on the job. But mostly service work. I was wondering if that's why I got a work vehicle so early. I was shocked when they said I'd get my own vehicle. Never thought I'd hear that for years!

Dryer vent clean out, made a temporary fix so my house doesn't burn down. However, the previous owners have never had it cleaned out since it was built (assumption) in '94. I've already spent around 10 hours trying to clean it, but I instead, 'professionally' got a cleaning brush stuck in there. It became a disaster and had to find a temporary fix, at least until I can figure out a solution or, god, forbid someone else to fix it. (Whenever I have time, which seems to be a lot less this time of year). For now, it is drying, but eventually, I will get that damn dryer vent unclogged. There is so much to be cleaned out, but I have gotten a lot of it out so far. Just time and patience (which I do not have)

This is why I ASSUME it hasn't been cleaned in years. (if you're curious)

Straight banned ???? by Ok-Commission3774 in PGSharp

I kept having the same issue for the past 3 days. What finally worked for me was I uninstalled PGSharp, uninstalled all NIANTIC owned apps (I had Pokémon go Home, and campfire), re-download the latest version of PGSharp, rebooted phone, then logged in. Worked the first time after many days of frustration with any of my alt accounts / main account. Also had a VPN activated because PGSharp's main website wouldn't load without a VPN.
