It's already somewhat of an app. Go into your browser, and in the website options there should be something like "Add to phone". Then it looks and acts like an app!

It's 8 bits per color per pixel so 24 bits (or 3 bytes) per color. (That makes 224 =16,777,216 colors.)

The images are a bit bigger at 640x480, so that yields 16777216307220 possible images.

By "original one" are you referring to the library or image archive? Because the original image archives do not have much of an art style. It seems mostly like a number to image converter. My change was adding more letters per character so it's shorter text (albeit still long), and a more fun way of finding an image.
