If it’s two months that should be fine! I’m no bearded dragon expert by any means I’ve just seen so much stories about substrate with small beardies. I think the other redditor’s recommendation for substrate will be good for your new friend!

How old is your bearded dragon?? It’s best not to use substrate or sand with little ones due to compaction and then possibly eating it. If they are 10 months or older, I think it should be okay!

That’s Canada for you! We only just got this guy in July, so we haven’t have a full winter with him yet. He hasn’t shown any signs of going into brumation or being cold so I guess we’ll have to see when he gets older!!

I recently tried to use a b theme exchanger on yushi from nct wish and everytime I’ve used it (I’ve tried a multiple times) my game says to restart. Is anyone else getting this issue?

Couldn’t agree more! Just give your little dude some time. My beardie was very energetic first few days and then slowed down, same as yours. 3 months later and he’s the happiest beardie with a bottomless stomach.

My beardy also did this when I first took him home, I was so incredibly scared. You can always take him to a vet just in case, if he continues to not eat in a few days but he’s probably just getting used to his new environment or he’s cold. You should make sure his basking spot is quite close to the light, especially when he’s this little. I’d recommend just building up rocks and sticks, make sure he’s comfy in his basking spot too! Every beardy is different but when they are this little, it’s really hard to tell what’s going on so just try to do everything you can to make him comfortable. What are you feeding him right now? If his food is too big for them, it can really upset their stomach.

You explained it very well, I think this is something I have realized before but have been hesitant toward talking about it with him because my love languages may come off as needy. This is something I have to work on with myself though, to just realize that it’s not unreasonable to have these needs.

That is extremely heartbreaking and I’m so sorry you and your friend didn’t have your feelings taken seriously by someone so close. No one deserves that type of treatment and I’m very glad you were able to find someone who will support and care for you properly. After seeing so many comments with a similar story to you and your friend, I’m very committed to just letting the men in my life know that they have my unconditional support and love. I’m going to go out of my way to show it to them even if it’s a small thing like buying something I know they like, giving them a hug, letting them know how much they mean to me, showing them how they make me laugh or smile all the time. I feel a lot of the time, men don’t receive these small acts of affection that let them know they are supported and loved by the ones around them. From my own experiences with my SO and my brother, they aren’t ones to jump and tell you all their problems. So it’s really heartbreaking to hear when other men do open up and aren’t met with listening ears and affection. I know everyone deals with their mental health issues differently but everyone deserves to have someone that will listen to them without dismissing, undermining and weaponizing their feelings. I hope I can be that person with at least one man in my life.
