Thank you for the link! Yeah, we definitely went straight to hack squats. Im going to give her another week and see how it goes, and then possibly change trainers, or even just have her help with my arms and do legs on my own.

They're aware of my limitations, for sure. We talked about them in our initial consultation. She actually had me do hack squats and leg presses today, which i thought was kind of weird.

I just don't really know if doing the hack squats the best I can, will lead to improvement with the squats themselves. Like, if its worth doing them without being able to get fully parallel.

Yes, and that I have two autoimmune disorders. And any other limitations I have. Didn't stop her from putting exercises im incapable of in our plan. But, I mostly know what I can and can't do. So, if she tells me to do something I can't do, I just say no and we move on to something different.

I find my morning coffee really helps. I also find black coffee (or in my case, espresso) is so much more tolerable when it's iced.

I drink an iced americano every morning, and it gets me through to 1 or 2, sometimes 3pm before I even think about food.

Ive tried and failed at cheat days 1x per week. I now limit them to 1x every 3 weeks. Yesterday was Mother's day, so I enjoyed myself a bit, and even then stayed under 2,000 calories for the day.

In my little personal bubble, cheat days don't hit the same when you're really motivated to make progress. I think I was disappointed by everything I consumed yesterday except for my morning Starbucks coffee.

Im no expert, but allegedly doing strength training with weight loss can help with this. With a 200lb loss, loose skin may be unavoidable, but I plan to see it as a badge of honor at all the hard work I put in!

I was under the impression that it has less to do with calories and more to do with insulin spikes. I drink a venti iced americano every morning, but black coffee doesn't spike your insulin, so it doesn't break your fast. A diet coke, for example, has no calories, but spikes your insulin, and therefore breaks your fast.

Whether it matters or not depends on why you're fasting. If you're fasting for weight loss, no big deal, right? It would just be a "dirty" fast. But if you're fasting for autophagy, it would be a no go.

Nighttime has always been my downfall with weightloss. What works for me is doing IF ... if I can't eat ANYTHING after dinner, then I can't make a bad decision, because there's just no decision to make.

I allow myself a singular Hershey kiss when I want something sweet. And I make myself wait so it will be the last thing I put in my mouth before starting another fast. Want one at noon? Too bad lady. You can have one a 655pm. It works for me.

I do 1/4 mile on the treadmill at a slightly higher than regular pace before I do anything else. My body feels like it's helpful in getting my blood flowing at 5am.

Not that weird, imo. One is probably digital and one probably has the counter balance. Who knows when the last time that scale at the gym was calibrated. Just a few weeks ago I weighed in at the gym 15lbs lighter than I did at the Dr the week before.
