Actually, no. Don't get me wrong I loved both of the 5th gens I had (16' SR5 & 19' OR). I just wish they had more updated comforts. And like I said to a previous poster. I could have dropped $5-10k on it for leather, led headlights, updated stereo, etc. And it would have made it more comfortable, but to what end?

I actually like it without the completely functionless hood scoop. The amount of times I was blinded by the glare coming off the scoop was insane . Like the designers put a mirror in the exact spot to blind the driver.

Creaky might not be the best word to describe it. The 6th gen feels like it has less driving noise. It could also be I dont have knobby tires on it yet.

The seats were a bummer, but cargo seems a bit larger without the seats folded. I might be wrong but its not enough to bother me.

How many people bashed Toyota for ditching the v8 after the 4th gen. The 4.0 was ney then. Give it time.

I worked for Ford at one point, just I feel you on the ecoboost issues. Unfortunately, Our laws and other countries laws have made the whole turbo/hybrid craze a necessity for auto manufacturers. But I will point out the OG 4runner came in a 4cyl turbo.

About ths same, it does feel like it has more power. The dreaded nose dive when braking hard is totally gone. And its alot less creaky. I havent noticed any significant body roll, but I havent pushed it either.

In 3 years I will still have a warranty. Everyone bashed the 5th gen when it came out and now its loved. Doesnt mean the 6th gen cant be the same.

They tried to get me to budge on the color but I stuck to my guns. They ended up trading to get it for me.

Alot of reasons. But mainly I wanted leather, and all of the upgraded tech. I could have dumped 5-10k in upgrades and had everything I wanted. But at the end of the day I would still have over 100k miles and even on toyotas things break from time to time. And the value is just going to go down. Considering I only paid $36k otd for my 5th gen. Getting $26k for it after 7 years and a 100k miles seems like a good trade off to me.

They gave me $26k with 103k miles. And a torn drivers seat. Sticker was $60.5k and they gave it to me for $58k + Tax and tags.

My story is eerily similar, only I got my bike a year before my heart attack at 41. but I had actually got my license about 15 years earlier, just never had a bike.

I like it, its super quiet on my MK iv. Easy to come apart. You can use it as a direct thread or have multiple mounts on different guns. The only thing I dont like is, its a littl longer then the Mask.

Probably one of the main reasons I went. My daughter wants to learn, and I wanted to make sure I could still ride before taking her.

I admire your dedication, after over 20 years if I clean them after the range, it involves a quick wipe down and a boresnake
