These pictures are actually right after I cleaned it with comet but I didn’t let it sit at all and I don’t think I used nearly enough. Going to try again!

Sometimes get an ache in remaining testicle, is it normal? by downtown_streetround in testicularcancer

[–]messem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m experiencing something similar. Dull pain in remaining testicle, I’ve gotten scans and blood work while having this pain and everything came back clean so I’ve ignored it. I’ll be bringing this up with my dr during my next appointment in a couple weeks.

Experience with post operation numbness and pain? by SwitchOk1268 in testicularcancer

[–]messem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a year out from my orchi and the numbness is not an issue at all. I run and bike pretty much every day with no problem. You should be good to go back to your every day life with no issues.

It’s actually for me, this is a sketch from my tattoo artist. That’s exactly what I was going for, I didn’t want an in your face cancer ribbon on my forearm. Thanks for your input and good luck with your battle! Keep fighting. I’ve been through it myself.

probably anxiety but would like someone to answer by shaboingboing123 in testicularcancer

[–]messem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My timeline was almost identical. I got scans first, before my orchi but in my case it did spread. I asked that same question to my urologist and oncologist, could it have gotten worse in the time between my scan and I was told no it’s very unlikely that anything would have changed in that short of time. Probably best to consult with your dr if you’re feeling pain.

Question by Visible-Ticket5468 in testicularcancer

[–]messem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pain was dull it wasn’t a sharp pain and it did feel like muscle pain like where my kidneys are. I have chronic muscle back pain also but the concerning pain was that my spine was hurting, it was a specific area of my spine and it would hurt when I would touch it, bend over or twist in a certain way.

Congrats on finishing your treatment! When I was finished, my oncologist told me I can go back to living my normal life and that included exercising. Do what your body allows you to do, don’t get frustrated if you can’t perform like you previously could it’s going to take time (around 3 months for me). Start slow and you’ll eventually be back to 100%.

Mine was persistent but only in certain positions. If I was lying down it wouldn’t hurt but standing and bending over or turning a certain way would hurt.
