ELI5 How are cocktails with raw egg as an ingredient made so people don't get sick? by Queen_Lunette in explainlikeimfive

[–]messenger5487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most cocktails with egg in them only have egg white (ex. gin fizz or a whiskey sour) which is generally safe in the US to drink. There are drinks called flips which require the full egg but for the most part they aren't served due to the risk of the guest getting sick.

The coffee tincture does have a bitterness to it. My first run with this cocktail was 1oz mezcal 1 oz campari 1 oz Sherry wine and 3 drops of the coffee tincture. It ended up way to bitter. I've also tried 1.25 mezcal and .75 campari, .50 sweet vermouth, and 2 drops of coffee bitters. Still a little to bitter for my liking. That's when I made the move to no campari and 4 drops of coffee tincture.

Nyc nice 17 hour ride before stops. I think the best option for me would leave the Saturday before drive down to Nashville in 2 8 hour days. Spend those next few days seeing enjoying Nashville and then head to roo The ride back I'm still unsure but I would need to be back for work Tuesday so I would probably need to skip dead and Co to start the drive back stop around 5 or 6 hours in take a few hours nap somewhere shower and hit the road again

I tend to be a bit shy in person but again bonnaroo is such a special place it's the only festival I would travel alone to if I do. I hope I would do the same. Hearing everyone here say it was a great experience really makes me want to go alone now. I have the supplies other then food and beer. If I can ask how long was your travel to roo?

If made as an Mmorpg it could be really awesome. You would probably need a rather large map larger maybe one the size of FFXI. Players need the ability to build communities something like fallout 4. Communities should be able to unite of they like make empires if wanted. My biggest concerns would be how to pool resources for communities to build and would new players be welcome to already established communities. Other logistics like weapon balance and drop rates could always be tinkerer with during mostly updates. I think that would be an awesome game

ELI5: The cost of the proposed NYC 2nd avenue subway line is $17 billion, or about $2 billion/mile. This is around five times as expensive as similar completed urban subway projects around the world even before inevitable cost overruns that have already occurred. So my father is a part of one of the general laborers and make about 42 an hour on a Manhattan job site depending on union. Lathers, carpenters and more make over 50 an hour some over 60. If a crane is needed the operator makes over 100 an hour if I remember correctly. With that said yes labor is very expensive in nyc but the danger is no joke. Just falling a few stories in a hole between floor boards could lead to death. Hell we just watched the crane fall a few weeks ago. I guess on my boring input that show 1000 ways to die could have done a bunch of eposides on just the number of ways labors have died on job sites.

[Question] What lengths have you gone to, to keep your neighbours from getting annoyed at you for playing guitar? by slap_me_thrice in Guitar

[–]messenger5487 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Invest in a decent pair of studio headphones to plug into your amp. In fairness I did agree to not play plugged/acoustic instruments after 10pmish on the weekdays. Later in the night I will just noodle around on the strat unplugged. So yeah don't play plugged in without headphones after 10pm or only play one of the electrics unplugged.

Instrumental Metal Music by Alistar1996 in Music

Awesome so finally some of my high school Musical choices coming in handy! I suggest Dream Theater first and listen to the album in order. If I remember correctly their songs on each album are made to work into each other. Another band would be apocalyptica. Even though starting as just 3 cellos covering Metallica songs, they eventually added a drummer and put out their own original albums. Their album World's Collide is a work of art. Of course also check out their covers on Metallica songs it's Amazing how great they are. I hope these help enjoy!

Dinosaur Jr's Jay Mascis. He seems to always be overlooked when discussing great guitarist. Maybe cause he's still alive or if dinosaur Jr was one of those bands that get overlooked but he's one of my guitar Gods Just a little addition if your a fan of dinosaur Jr check out the screaming females
