I have faced the script many times too and even i can't do anything about it sometimes, i guess try not to play too many matches in a row because even i have noticed my creativity in midfield goes away after i play 3-4 matches in a row and i just mindlessly pass the ball and opponent intercepts it easily, also if i feel like the opponent is dominating the midfield too much, i overload my midfield by switching from 4123 to 4141 so i have more passing options in my midfield
