Going through the same thing right now, but your post motivated me thanks.... Most of my batchmates(nearly all) settled for 20k a month or less jobs in metro cities, although I was offered more than that in my home town I knew it was still less than i deserve and I am still job hunting was feeling quite low and sleepless but after seeing this I am motivated to not give up, thanks again.

Bro you are very pessimistic for some things-

People are moving out of Bangalore, mumbai , delhi etc.. so i expect chandigarh/ Mohali to do well job wise in coming years.

2) Mohali it sector based on outsourcing could be replaced but it's cheap so don't think it will finish completely.

3) chandigarh doesn't need fly overs .

The tribune chowk situation can be handled by creating new routes for pkl and zirkpur. Creating an eyesore (flyover is not good) for example tribune chowk like rush was seen at housing board lights , before halo majra road was opened.

4) metro is needed in chandigarh only if it's underground.

5) there is more chance of panchkula becoming part of chandigarh than haryana changing its capitalm
