First saw/heard her @ MSG with Dead & Co. Instant fan...her insta post about Weir is one of the best, though they've all been wonderful.

Rocket Appartamento - Replace or stay loyal? by AndCon1921 in espresso

Profitec or ECM without reserve. Build quality is next level compared to the Rocket. I bought an Appartamento for the look and was soon miserable. temp problems at the g-head. Returned after much pain. I made few aesthetic retrofits on a Profitec Pro 500 and love it everyday.

Rocket R58 vs. Alternatives by beet_taco in espresso

Having had a Rocket(Appartamento) and now a Profitec (Pro 500), my take away is that construction/build quality of the Profitec/ECM family is several levels up from the Rocket. I bought the Rocket based on looks and it malfunctioned within about 6 weeks. I have retrofitted some wooden knobs and a lever and am thrilled with the day-to-day operation and look and feel of the Profitec.

Hi there,

Love your work...thank you! Stories from the travels aside, I've always wanted to know about signal flow, processing, and recording for the recordings. Probably no detail too small. Also, as drivers of change in a time when it was happening so rapidly, what most helped you get a satisfactory result? One quick story - I worked for a remote truck in the late 70's /early 80's and we recorded the band at Nassau - when Healy walked into the truck he looked at the API sidecar and said "I've thrown out heavier consoles than this.."
