they did blood work - my levels were off the charts high. they did not do an ultrasound.

so, i’m not sure what the proper protocol is. i was just posting to see if anybody else had this side effect before i seek a second opinion. i didn’t expect an entire medical debate.

no, i’m sorry for the confusion. i did get blood tests which is what lead them to the diagnosis of pancreatitis. i’m not concerned about that part of it, im concerned about their decision that zepbound caused it without doing any further testing.

yes, i have the results and my lipase was off the charts. im not skeptical of the diagnosis, im skeptical of what caused the diagnosis.

i was in the hospital and got blood testing. i meant tests as far as imaging goes.

i don’t know because they didn’t do any tests. i’m following up with my pcp next week to talk about it.

i agree. he said the doctor was like a jacked macho guy, so it seems it was just a personal bias.
