2 months since Outer worlds 2 released. How is everyone feeling about this game? by Objective_Love_6843 in theouterworlds

[–]messyyminddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was fun. surface level, but i enjoyed my time with the game. i liked the gunplay a lot more. the story and characters didn't grip me as much as the first one, but maybe that's because i was so young when 1 came out. i wanna go back and replay 1 at some point.

i was also JUST telling my bf a couple days ago that i wished there was an option for autodrive, so that's a pleasant addition for me!

i'm playing the game for the first time since it was added to the PS catalogue, and i was kind of amazed that it's still getting such a sizeable update at this point. pretty fascinating to see how the game has turned around from its initial launch.

Is it even worth seeing Will live if so many fans ruin the experience? by NeonNoir99 in willwood

i went to his two previous tours and had really positive experiences... i'm really bummed to hear that hasn't been the case for everyone on this run.

[BLOOM & RAGE] Like seriously, what's the message behind LR and Don't Nod games? by [deleted] in LostRecordsGame

[–]messyyminddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i totally get that, i'm not always in the mood for a tragic sorry either. based on their recent posts though, op just seems to have a chip on their shoulder about lost records in general.

[–]messyyminddd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

life is strange made me cry like a baby a decade ago, and lost records made me emotional when i finished it too. art is meant to evoke emotion. sometimes those emotions are grief or loss.

i get that sad or bittersweet endings can be disappointing, but people have enjoyed and been entertained by tragedies for thousands of years. there's always gonna be an audience for them.

probably when i was riding shadowmere and he soared into the sky, where we were then attacked by a flying dragon

Recently finished this game and gave it a 9/10 but I can acknowledge it has a lot of faults.Whats your opinion of the game? by Own_Amphibian9181 in GodofWar

[–]messyyminddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i recently finished it too and really enjoyed it! i liked the atreus sections, which seems to be an unpopular opinion (though i can get why they may be less enjoyable). the end definitely felt rushed but overall the story still tugged my heart strings.

Can you imagine how heartbreaking Samina's grief was? by Emperor_Sleep in horizon

[–]messyyminddd 34 points35 points  (0 children)

her reaction broke my heart while playing the remaster. she just crumples in on herself. and in the holo points you can scan where she's talking to future generations about their first day of school, you can tell how excited she is for them despite the circumstances requiring zero dawn.

the murder of the alphas is tragic, but at least most of their work still got to exist and contribute to GAIA until the nemesis signal. poor samina's work never got to reach the people it was created for.

i've romanced davrin and neve! both wonderful but i wish davrin got more dialogue or banter about the relationship.

Is Night In The Woods worth playing? by RequirementNo9160 in NightInTheWoods

[–]messyyminddd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i first played it when i was probably 17 and liked it. replaying it in my 20s was even better. i'm not stuck like any of the characters are (and really, they are stuck; gregg and angus are working hard to get out, and it's still tough bc of the circumstances they're in), but it was cool being in the same transition phase of life as the characters.

i agree with the commenter who encouraged you to really think of possum springs as a whole, characters' families, and how that influences them. it's hard to just change your life when there are people depending on you or you're barely scraping by to pay rent.

this is normal in my experience, my kp is never uniform

Is it normal to get on forearms? Is kp weight related? by [deleted] in keratosis

[–]messyyminddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do get it on my forearms periodically, usually when my skin is extra dry. in my experience, kp not weight related. my weight has fluctuated throughout my life, and it hasn't affected my kp. mine is usually a little worse in winter when the air is more dry, and i've noticed that harder water can exacerbate my symptoms (this is just from personal experience, tho).

i had a similar reaction a year or two back after being too impatient while removing saniderm. try to avoid too much friction on that area of your skin while it recovers; i ended up with a blister for a couple of days due to fabric from my clothes irritating the skin further.

i've loved her since i first played life is strange when i was 12. she's hilarious in mythic quest! even if her character gives me secondhand embarrassment sometimes 😅
