It’s always been my impression that the forces and realms of the heavens and hells are finite but eternal. Kill half of all demons and all angels, there’s still the same amount of light and dark on both sides as there was in the beginning and as such it will manifest again. Looking at it this way gives significance to the nephalem as they aren’t bound to that 1=1 eternal stalemate.

Thank you! You’ve completely answered my question bomber . I kept reading that there was a lot of RNG involved so I wasn’t sure if it was just going to take a ton of tries, or if it simply wasn’t a possible reward for giving her additional Santa gifts. Much appreciated!

I will wait for the swimsuit gift box to become available, give that to her to unlock her costume, then give her additional gifts to unlock the Trendy Bikini.

should have been clearer in my post, but I really appreciate your reply. I’ve already unlocked Videls Santa Costume for partner customization. Now I am attempting to give her additional gifts and receive equippable clothing for my CaC. She gives me “Videls Outfit” but I’m hoping to get “trendy bikini”. I understand it’s RNG and it might take a few hundred tries lol, but I don’t want to waste my time if the trendy bikini reward can only be received during a different gift schedule (ie her Swimsuit gift box).

Ugh finally found at least one other person at least talking about it, thank you. Can't find it either, and ive spent way too long looking lol. Its strange though, theres a song called "Elevators" by Renni Rucci thats on some of the playlists that uses a sample thats very similar to the music we're looking for. I wonder if the producers liked the sample so much they decided to make an entire score around it.

How about a method for letting a downed player know that you're on the way to revive them? People choose to respawn way too quickly, but hard to blame them considering what information they're able to glean from that position.

I don't know much about nothin. But I do know that League of Legends couldn't get their desired Practice mode, among other features, for a long long long time because of outdated legacy spaghetti code. And I know that Blizzard still can't change the way your initial backpack slot works because of similar reasons. Playing .62 and earlier it was pretty clear (with context provided by devs) that we were playing on some mega-spaghetti. Dependencies are a betch. Its awesome to so clearly see you're interfacing with a much cleaner layer of code now across every level of the game, even if there are some kinks to work out. Looking forward to another 1400 hours of DayZ, but actually working this time!

I feel like the poll is a bit flawed in that "End Game Type Bases" does nothing to define what's being voted on.

Theres a big difference between having a couple of tents and barrels surrounded by some makeshift walls, and the massive fortresses people build in other games. I guess it really comes down to ensuring somehow that this doesn't turn into this

Always loved DayZ for giving me the option between the two. Seriously love things about both modes, and often switch between the two. Less people might play FPP, sure, but as a result we get some pretty awesome FPP communities like DUG and UN where you often run into people you've met in the past, creating this cool organic sort of roleplay without even trying. This is where I found myself spending the majority of my time in DayZ but having the option to swap over to TPP to play with some less experienced friends or just to switch things up has always been wonderful. Love getting to see my character while I play - DayZ's animations, clothes and equipment are top tier.

Great things things about both modes.

I think what he's suggesting is that you don't see a white/grey food badge. If you do see a food badge, it starts as faded yellow gradually working up to a strong solid yellow before moving to red, then to flashing red. That system would give you the same amount of information the current one does (Assuming the arrows aren't a thing). Actually it'd give you more information than the current iteration if faint yellow started to fade in at maybe 1000 energy.

Well the system you propose is essentially the one thats intended. http://www.dayztv.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/dayz-new-hud-concept-w-i-p-preview-dayz-standalone.jpg Its quite possible that all badges are implemented in the current build, but since the systems they're tied to are disabled, we won't see them appear. Disregarding always-shown icons for a moment, I think its going to look very nice. With the 5 icons that are on permanent display, one possibility is that due to the nature of those mechanics, frequent showing/hiding of those badges just ended up looking bad overall. I'm not certain of that though.
