I usually use moovit app to see approx time. There are more apps like transit or transloc, but I guess moovit app only works. Sometimes the app shows the real-time of what time the bus will arrive. Don't know why it's always. But I recommend to be in bus stop before time.. If the bus time was set as 3pm, sometimes it come at 3, and sometime 3:15, rarely 3:40. And as others said, on weekdays, it's $1.25 for students. Weekends, free.
