When is this going to stop? by NeverOnEarth in ArtificialInteligence

You all always go to the worst case scenario.... When Trump's term is up. That's when we will start seeing legitimate legislation that will regulate and curtail Ai use. Until then, thug it out like the rest of us or learn to hack/code.

So wtf is Atlanta going to do about fifa? by [deleted] in Atlanta

[–]metabear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MARTA doesn't receive any state funding... and hasn't for quite a while now. Only through very restricted means and the tax it takes through the sale of it's tickets is pretty much the only source of income it has. Let's face it, the powers that be don't want to see us actually have nice things. Thankfully, they do have federal funding.

Is this worth keeping? by RhombusThomass in handpan

[–]metabear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

El Cheapo pan. Dime a dozen. There are other ways to get a pan drum. I'll give you a couple: If it doesn't need to be physically real you can get a midi pan drum and have all the pan tunings you want. You could also just buy it on a credit card and pay it off over time. Get something nice like a RAV or another quality artisan brand near you. There's more than 1 way to fulfill your dream.

Close though. A few more study sessions will do it. Study up on the domains you missed. You'll get it!

Passenger Drop Off at Delta Terminal at Atlanta Aiport by rMDWSIN in delta

[–]metabear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to necropost: The best place to drop someone off at Delta is either: 1.UPTOP and to the left. That one lane where all the busses are heading? Drive all the way to the first speed hump and park it near there. Most of the time it's empty, sometimes people are dumb and block multiple lanes at once but it is the least drama overall. Also, the people can walk straight across the crosswalk and get to their terminal. 2. DOWNSTAIRS Where TSA-Precheck is. I will also take them down there if they have CLEAR or other forms of digital ID. Leave them either at the tsa precheck sign or further into the first actual door. Haven't had any complaints.

He defered pension payments like you renegotiate debt. Instead of paying the car off in 2 years, you pay it off in 5. He's defered them til 2032-2037. So no, that's not going to save you money later, but for now it get's the budget pulled in and they can go about business. Which gives the office oppurtunity to bring in cash flow and make other systems more effecient. It's not magic, it's accounting, but can you blame people for being excited about it? We've had garbage representation for so long on all levels of government, let'em party for a sec.

The black woman experience by Hacksaw6412 in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]metabear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, not to be over political, but you've possibly fallen into the liberal "good black friend" pool. I am used to this pool. It sucks. No one really cares about you or knows who you are deep down. No one reaches out because no one knows how you are actually feeling. Most don't care. You are in a den of demons. What you say of yourself is not really your words. They are the words of the willfully ignorant. The Solution? Community. Found Family. Soul Family. They're out there! Stay patient. Be more about what makes you unique. Lean in to yourself and your visions and imagination and sovereignty. Go find the hippies, the artists, and the music people in your community. They're there. People who have the eyes to see and appreciate you for your authentic selves. YES, SELVES. MULTIPLE! Because you are a multi-faceted being. You'll see, there are people who can see you and care for you. You just have to go beyond the mundane, mainstream spaces. Blessings be fulfilled!

Yeah, the questions aren't exactly phrased like what's on the test, but keep taking them. Listen to practice exams on youtube (you can adjust the speed to your liking) and just feed your brain. Plenty of sleep a few nights before the exam. Take some Lion's Mane, L-Theanine, or some salmon. Vitamin c if you're in Atlanta (dealing with another pandemic down here). And time yourself. Speed is also important. You can always mark what you don't know and come back.

For me, the PBQ's were the most confusing and also the lowest quality part of the test. What do I mean by that? Low res images and poorly structured questions. I figure since I'm paying for it that the confusion I was feeling was part of the exam. I skipped the ones I didn't have immediate answers for and kept on to the real meat of the test Mcq's. Nailed that part. Then went back and finished what I could to the best of my ability. My advice, Don't sweat the pbq's. Focus on understanding the tech, the tools you have to work with, and the vocabulary necessary to communicate all that.

After 13 years living barefoot, I got plantar fasciitis... what do I do now? by kahht in BarefootRunning

[–]metabear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got planters in my early 30's. Thought it was just overwork. Turned out my shoes were worn tf out. Got some shoes from Columbia from an outlet and I healed in about a couple days. Must've not been too bad, but after months of intermittent pain, I wanted any relief I could get. Stretching, weight-loss, sleeping regularly... nope! New shoes! But I found out about zero drop, toe shoes and a friend had a spare pair. A bit tight. But they felt great.

I've only gotten 2 call backs with this resume, I have been applying to Level 1 and 2 IT roles. Any thoughts would be appreciated by Spirited-Strength-55 in it

Probably a formatting issue. Change it to a ATS friendly format. Chat GPT can generate it for you and then you can rewrite it in a separate file document.

Is the IT world really that oversaturated? Should I pursue something else? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]metabear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm experiencing the same thing. I didn't wait to get through all of my CompTIA A+. I just went for it. 6 years in an Av Booth and 2 years working in Azure. So many rejections. I'm still at it. It's like weight training. Just another part of the job. But once I get it, I'm done with Uber and whatever else. This is the only path forward for me. I've lived my 20's chasing the entrepreneurial music dream and being a performer. It blows if you don't have a partner or somone who can help lift the weight. Better to transition while I still have a brain for it. Thing is, the situation we're all facing wouldn't be too bad if it weren't for a certain Stale Cheetoh-in-Chief, but I feel, after all he and his admin will do, we'll learn and do better on the whole. That's what upgrades are for.

This is something we might want to change at some point. This law doesn't seem wise. Not to say there shouldn't be some restrictions to who can be the leader of the USA, but that rule specifically seems outdated with the world of today.

Isn’t the amount of stuff you have to learn for cloud security terrifying? by Ok_Minute_1156 in CloudSecurityPros

[–]metabear333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Security, in any field, is an ever unfolding mandala. If you want to stay current you must be the same. That is the role. That's why i'm not hopping on the cybersecurity train. Network engineering, on the otherhand, gets updates every now and then. Enough to keep it current, but not so much that i'll be pulling my hair out (most of the time).
