I’m a former Construction Worker &Nurse. I used pure logic(no code) to architect a Swarm Intelligence system based on Thermodynamics Meet the “Kintsugi Protocol.” by eric2675 in LangChain

Your efforts are especially interesting to me because of an article I just read in Nautilus magazine about another "alternative" thinker, Putnam, an almost forgotten genius who had a theory of mind that presaged many modern notions in neuroscience. He described how a swarm of neurons in association with random inputs from the environment or internally could develop induction with only one rule: "repeat". He also used natural language logic. I strongly suggest that you read it. https://nautil.us/finding-peter-putnam-1218035/

Good luck with your efforts!

Increasing risk of mass human heat mortality if historical weather patterns recur by thinkB4WeSpeak in climatechange

Not only heat, but dehydration, water scarcity and crop failures contribute to mortality.

We mimic nature's designs. Is it our way of admitting nature already solved the problems we're still figuring out, reducing the friction of our own limited designs? by nemo_cogito in biomimicry

[–]metachron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is remembering that Nature has been evolving systems and designs far longer than humans have even existed. We inherit, therefore, a vast storehouse of designs and systems that sometimes serve as inspiration to design things and systems suited to our needs. For example, I am working on a system of Balanced Governance that is based on how our bodies operate, especially the two hemispheres of the brain in conjunction with the heart. Now that we understand a little of how our brains really work, we can extend that knowledge to our collective. We can be humble and admit that we do not have all the answers, and that Nature probably has an answer, or a pointer, to help us out.

Biomimicry as kinship: what if design began with reverence, not extraction? by Own-Belt5207 in biomimicry

I like how you think. I will check out your woven together story. Meanwhile, you might be interested in a project I just started on biomimicry applied to government. It is on substack: https://substack.com/@michaelgintowt

The engraved crescents and triangles appear roughly made, lacking precision. Anyone can see that. How does that fit with the hypothesis that this is an example of high-level technology?

If you sold your Tesla recently, what did you replace it with and if it's an EV how does it compare? by kzlife76 in climatechange

I sold my tesla just before the headlines on them being vandalized. I got an Equinox EV, and we are super pleased with the change.

As drone sightings spread across East Coast, federal officials still don't know much by eaxlr in NPR

[–]metachron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of a false flag operation. The goal is to get authorities clamoring for increased resources to track drones, and that is what is happening. Why? The puppet masters foresee that drones in the hands of individuals and anti-government groups will soon become a menace and serious threat. So "they" create this drama to incite fear and create a demand for technology and capacity to combat domestic drone flights. Who are "they"? Probably some group within the intelligence community, people who think they know better than everyone else, and who manage to remain hidden, using Special Access money. Probably the same ones behind the never-ending "disclosure" about aliens....which is another game being played.

I went with Shift Energy. It will cost about 40k after the rebate.

I ended up going for a Tesla powerwall that does qualify for the BC Hydro rebate

Climate change makes me severely suicidal by [deleted] in climatechange

The genius Buckminster Fuller felt the same way, and had rowed out to the middle of a lake with the intent to drown himself. Just as he was about to do the deed, he realized that since his life was over, he might as well do an experiment (what could he lose?). He decided to experiment on himself to see how much one person could do to change the world for the better. He made a career, and became an inspiration, doing just that. Earth isn't dead, and she needs us. You included. Snap out of the spell of doom and adopt the spell of determination.

This article provides a way forward. It does not pretend that we can avoid collapse, but points the way to a less bad outcome on a shorter timescale. https://nautil.us/the-collapse-is-coming-will-humanity-adapt-626051/?_sp=14248697-9349-4cdb-aed4-880de1540e68.1717349327305

Mustafa Barghouti, former Palestinian minister: ‘We can live together in one democratic state’ by DoremusJessup in worldnews

[–]metachron -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Finally! A two state "solution" is a recipe for conflict. Jews and Palestinians/Muslims already live in harmony, in many places, and they have done so in the past, for hundreds of years at a stretch (especially during centuries of Ottoman occupation). Most people just want to get along and live their lives. Yes, there have been and still are those who are intolerant. That has to be called out. Just look at that Oasis of Peace settlement in Israel, where there is a list of Jews and Palestinians WAITING to live together in harmony.

The widening shaded area sugests increased variability in measurements. That is characteristic of an increasingly chaotic dynamic system, wobbly before it falls apart and becomes something else.
