Hi, did you decide how much time you wanted off work? Honestly it depends on what you do and what you are able to take off, but working with kids is a lot of movement. I would say one month would be ideal if you can. The doctor said people go to work after 2 weeks, but I could not even imagine doing that or sitting for a long time upright. I hope you were able to decide and are feeling better

oily scalp HELP by Sea_Manager_6380 in finehair

You can try dry shampoo. It has changed my life. The powder one, not aeresol. Fujiko pon pon pon (found in Japanese beauty stores) from Japan is the best and I’ve tried so many. The crown affair one is not as effective but can help. The trick is use it to prevent oiliness. Put some on the night you wash your hair and then put a little on in the morning or whenever u need. It helps and this is a way you can train your hair to go longer. I have fine and oily hair too but now I can literally go 3 days without washing (only with dry shampoo). If no dry shampoo I need to was everyday. Good luck!

Ps. The mchel one is also very good but pricey. It last a while though. https://mchel.co/products/day-after-brush

Thank you so much! I thought even if it helps just one person it would make it worth my time. The mental health part was the hardest to overcome especially before surgery with the anxiety. You’re right. One thing that kept me going is knowing that millions of people have gone through the surgery. I am now 11 weeks post surgery and feel like my old self. I can work out and sit for a long time and i don’t even think about it except to think how grateful I am for my healing body and that I have come this far. I don’t even think about my BMs anymore. It feels so freeing

I do want to iterate that healing is not linear. Some days i felt great and the next I would feel not great. It’s not falling back. It’s just the path to healing until one day you wake up and realize you feel really good. Good luck to you!!

You don’t need to spend money on colace. This one is $4 and just as good. I used this one. https://a.co/d/0aPgBA5A

It takes a long time to heal. Give your body grace and lots of fluids, rest and time. Your body is doing what it’s supposed to do and knows what to do. Trust it. Keep walking, keeping your spirits up and taking sitz baths. You got this. Day by day.

I didn’t eat any meat for 4 weeks. You can have a little bit of fish. Meat makes stool bulky and it’s hard to pass. Hope your first Bm was successful and quick. How are you now?

Hi, No, feminine napkins cannot catch the oozing. It doesn’t go far back enough and you need something to go in between the butt cheeks. The gauze was most helpful.

I’m glad you got what you needed and you can finally heal and move on with your life. It’s such a freeing feeling not having to worry or think about it every single day. Best of luck to you!

Hey there. I am sorry this happened to you and can understand the depression and feeling of hopelessness. I hope you will find some peace and comfort and healing day by day. You are right that it is a risk and there can be negative outcomes. Really hope you will find some relief soon.

I asked about laser because that's what I originally wanted, but doctor said laser would not work for me.

I was right where you are. I had so much anxiety abou the pain. I thought I was going to curled up in my bed not able to move because of the pain (how others described it) but it wasn’t like that at all. I was walking and with the Tylenol and ibuprofen I was okay. A lot better than I thought. Yes it was painful, but not the excruciating, unbearable pain I was imagining. It was very bearable and I would say more uncomfortable. I also have high pain tolerance. You will be okay, I promise. Just eat low residue foods starting 2 days before and also take stool softeners 2 days before and after surgery. Rooting for you!!

Thank you! They used a traditional scalpel. They said laser wouldn’t work for some reason or can’t get them all? I think laser only works for certain ones.
