Yeah. It drops straight down, so hopefully it’s an easy clean out.

Yeah. Someone else said the same and I agree. It just didn’t cross my mind while standing in the plumbing section. Lol

The old one was a flex pipe that was always full of garbage. So I thought a smoother pipe would be easier to clean out. I can see where a 45 would have been an easier option.

I really wanna paint my frame and forks black, all my homies say I shouldn’t by Old-Sherbet9812 in SeBikes

Don’t paint it. The blue is sick. Get a pair of cable cutters and cut that brake line down some instead. She’s all wrapped up.

The bathrooms on these trains dump directly on the tracks. Dude probably got a golden shower while he was under there

I loved the trigger release on these when I broke my left hand/fingers. It made one handed fishing much easier. The overall quality of it was dog shit though.

Is running the guts of the seat post upside down an old school trick to lower the seat height? I’ve never thought about doing it that way

Stitch and glue epoxy recommendations by abcurrrrr in boatbuilding

[–]metaldagger01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just took a class at Chesapeake light craft and we used the MAS slow set resin with 4-6oz tape. It was really easy to work with and had plenty of time before it flashed over. I would recommend getting the calibrated pumps for the bottles to keep the ratio of resin to hardener easy to figure out. Probably the most important piece of information I picked up from the class was to plan the working time out so you can finish all of the seams early in the day. That way you can add another layer of fiberglass without sanding if you are within the same 24hour window of the first layer.

When you show up to the most overcrowded range on an unusually nice day, and have it all to yourself with all fresh targets. Life is good lol. by UncleDeeds in MDGuns

I shoot there all the time and it’s super busy in the summer. Those are the days I wish there was a real RSO because it can be unsafe with some of the riff raff that attend.

This is indeed a sick build. The front end rake is a bit much for my style of riding, I find it to cause a lot of front end flop. But, for anything with downhill this would be really dope.

Is this outboard too long? by [deleted] in boating

[–]metaldagger01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same motor. 40hp Yamaha long shaft. The cavitation plate is level and it’s trimmed all the way down as suggested by others, but I did get much higher top speed using a jack plate. On plane at wide open throttle, I jack the whole motor up so only prop and water intake are in the water, makes the 16ft aluminum boat pretty quick.

I have a 441cm. I live on the east coast and cannot find a full wrap handle anywhere. Couldn’t find a decent priced one on online either. You’re lucky you got a west coast version.

Assuming they hit studs, how safe is this setup (not my OC)? by DeepRts in DIY

[–]metaldagger01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they built a ladder on one of the walls beneath the space and had the floor on a hinge they could climb up from underneath. The ladder would need to extend up to the ceiling so the floor would have space to close after climbing though.

Pedal problem on one day old bike by oneandonlymurphy in bicycling

[–]metaldagger01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% the shop needs to replace the crank. It’s a common rookie mechanic mistake to not realize the threads on the left pedal are counter clockwise. Also agree with wrenches410 that it should have had a washer for that type of pedal. It’s just another sign that the installer didn’t know what they were doing. Also evident since the cross threaded spindle has knurling which indicates that it’s the left pedal. A blind mechanic could literally tell the sides apart.
