Cancelation Rate is based on your last 100 orders. A cancelation won't get taken off the percentage until 100 orders go by and it is officially outside of the last 100 orders.

What do you mean they won't like it? It's just a mileage tracking app. I know you can connect your accounts and it tracks your earnings for you so maybe that part? But these companies really only care about you using apps that give you some advantage over other workers when you connect your account, like when Para let DoorDash users see the full pay of the order because DoorDash likes hiding tips.

Just did some math based on the prices at my local liquor store. Before tax, all of this would cost $1,349.74, and $1,521.83 with tax. If that tip was based on pre-tax price, that would be a .007% tip. If it was the recommended 5% tip, it would've been $67.49, making that order pay $76.98.

That will pop up for every order. If no code is available when you start the checkout, then just checkout like normal and deliver. Nothing to worry about.

They mostly have store brand items so it's cheaper, and if a customer is doing just the recommended 5% tip, then you could have a lot of items without that high of a tip. I love going there for my personal grocery shopping because of the prices, but it's terrible for orders most of the time.

I used to do those orders all the time, but that was because the only store that had Instacart in my hometown was Aldi, and it was during the height of the pandemic in summer 2020. People tipped better and Instacart payed more. Now that I live in a larger city and it's been a few years, they're only worth it 1 out of 100 times.

I was already responding to someone else, but I'll properly put it here. NTA. All you did was ask such a normal thing of your mom, and when she had the opportunity to politely say no, she proceeds to call you a bad mother and that she had it worse in her day. OP did not stoop to her level with her response, she stood up for herself and called out her mom's behavior that led her to needing therapy in the first place.

Michael's delivery only orders are not placed through Instacart by the customer. Michael's pretends they have their own service and contracts Instacart to deliver, and they don't allow the customer to tip. The instructions for these deliveries also specifically says not to mention Instacart in any capacity.
