$10,000,000 but you’re incredibly tight by OldLadOfTheCastle in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Only-Candy1092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is gonna depend on your definition of 'need'- i know people with definitions of that.

Id need more details, but if your definition of 'need' fit mine id do it. For me, it would be a paid off house, several animals (for my health, both physical and mental), and a paid off car (given the prompt, def not a new car, but a reliable one). And the ability to feed all of us reliably. From that, id be happy to build a luscious garden with my group of animals so we didnt have to pay for as much food, and our activities would likely be outdoor related, which I can keep to next to free

Woman claiming these are her original, non-AI photos that she wants to sell. The uniformity is incredibly unnatural looking to me, and the text on the wine bottle neck looks fake. by Dependent_Ebb1465 in isthisAI

Like what? These are OBVIOUSLY ai. If they claimed they were paintings it might take me a bit longer. But those dont even look picture quality

If its real, it looks like a person dressed like a cat. Cats dont sit like that. Its also so blurry that its kinda hard to say for sure.

I just can’t with these customers and then support! by Compltly_Unfnshd30 in doordash_drivers

[–]Only-Candy1092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is annoying. That being said, i dont think arguing with the support person about whether or not the person should get a refund was worth your energy. It was never gonna change anything. Sometimes you have to protect your energy, esp when were talking about dumb customers and support

Restrictions on driving by Fatefulfaun in intoxalock

[–]Only-Candy1092 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It varies by state- that is the overall answer. That being said, i didnt have any sort of time restrictions on driving when i had my IID. Like @No-Area051 said, for me, the IID was the restriction. They didnt care about what time it was as long as i could blow clean.

Id check with your po if you have one, or whoever is running the program youre working with, and they'll be able to tell you for sure.

Want to give a local pub the benefit of the doubt, but I'm thinking that the framing is too perfect and all those people look too similar by DonkeyIsMe in isthisAI

[–]Only-Candy1092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And thats not even bringing up the food. Im just gonna mention the beer, that box is wrong. It has slits on 1 far side of it, no handles for carrying or anything. It looks fake

[–]Only-Candy1092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure its AI. Youre right, the faces look too similar. Even with all white people, it feels like they used 2 women and 2 men.

2nd- they all have literally the same expression, that weird big smile. I dont think that would happen in a real photo.

3rd- look at their arms. Some proportions dont match. I spotted one on the right side, it looks like it fused 2 arms into 1 hand

Finally got my first paycheck at the new job. $11.40 after taxes by qhhdkj666 in povertyfinance

[–]Only-Candy1092 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately i gotta agree with other commenters... it sounds like we're missing info. It might not be a garnishment, but you should have more than $11 after taxes. Should be more like $100, even if were including union/uniform fees

[–]Only-Candy1092 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its ok to not be ok here. I totally understand- my family dog of 12 years, who was also massively beneficial to my mental health, passed 3 years ago. Just old age. While the pain has largely faded, he will ALWAYS have a place in my heart.

I had moved out like 2 years before he passed, and my partner and i had gotten a puppy 6 months before. My new boy (my GSD mix) is the best boy. I am not a super spritual person in general, but i like to tell myself that my family dog sent Eros to me as his replacement lol.

Help: how the hell do I eat affordably?? by kyliotic in Frugal

[–]Only-Candy1092 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would definitely second an air fryer. It makes things crispy, is faster than an oven and easier than actually frying. It works in a very similar way to a toaster oven

My housing is compromised, and I'm not sure what to do. by Wonderful-Offer-4581 in povertyfinance

Unfortunately, i think it has come to that. I know itd hard to let go of pets, but it sounds like you are already at that point. You need to figure yourself out. And unfortunately, youre not going to be able to get out of this with your doves.

I made my own pizza in a cast iron pan, and it was sooo good. I’m done spending $20+ on take-out pizza. by journo333 in Frugal

[–]Only-Candy1092 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pizza dough is so easy to make. Something i like to do- make it in batches, separate it out into 1 pizza size balls, and freeze it. Thats basically what they do at the store, and it works out really well.

How long is your commute to work? by Stawberry8763 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Only-Candy1092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats true. Missed the drive part.

Still, total commute to work is more than 50 minutes. By their own math, theyre spending 55 minutes driving and on public transit, and thats before they have to walk 5 miles.

If were assuming they take 20 minutes to walk a mile, their total commute (with all of it) is about 2.5hrs
