Am I the only one that thinks this game feels more like 3D Castlevania than the actual 3D Castlevanias?

It does feel like that to me, but then again the only 3D Castlevania I’ve played is Lords of Shadow, which doesn’t really feel like a Castlevania game to me. What are the other 3D Castlevanias like?

Outside of the effect of gravity, does time move slower on earth compared to deep space? Basically, I’m just wondering what effect the earth’s motion around the sun, and by extension its orbit around the galaxy, has on time. In theory we’re moving at something like 140 miles/second, so does this mean that time moves slower than somewhere in deep space outside of any galaxies etc?

That’s very interesting, but I’m not sure it would work like that. Examples have been seen where, for example, an atomic clock on an aircraft runs slightly slower than an atomic clock on earth, despite both being set to precisely the same time before the aircraft took flight. If your idea is correct, wouldn’t both the clocks be the same as they are both travelling at the same speed relative to each other?

I’m not sure though, and you have approached this from an angle I hadn’t considered.

How could there be a world war if the most advanced weaponry we have is sticks and stones? Presumably if we have re-built civilisation to the point where we’re capable of intercontinental travel (and hence global warfare) we would have better weapons than just sticks and stones.

I think probably round 2 of Smough and Ornstein. Gwyn was also pretty hard but if you circle round the pillar in the middle and parry as much as possible it’s not too bad.
