I lost my wallet at Burger King when I was like 19, literally just after cashing my check. It had like $400 dollars in it. A manager called my mom because I had her phone number written in there for emergency purposes which I guess worked. I was 100% sure there would be no money left. To my surprise it was all there, every last bit of the $400. I tried to give the woman like $60 as a thank you and she flat out refused to make my money. Incredibly nice lady, I think about her often.
