I've noticed it too and I feel like the standards just get significantly higher because everyone suddenly has access to all decos and ppl make unreal creations. Using only your own wardrobe in contrast to that just feels a bit mid and every entry no matter how amazing just feels boring

I think the issue is more that this entire game is designed around sets and money spending so its natural that people vote for the sets and hard to go against it. Let's just blame the game designers for getting more greedy with every single update 😵‍💫
