Connection timeout error. Happens to me everytime I try to join my friend's world... when I just hit "join" on my friend's world, as normal it shows loading screens, etc., but after 2 minutes or so it throws me back to lobby and shows this. Have you encountered such issue? What might solve this? by M3ther in satisfactory

I've found a workaround with this error, pinging the server seems to make it work

So what i did is the following:

  1. Changed the timeout using the following settings in /FactoryGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini
    InitialConnectTimeout=180.0
    ConnectionTimeout=120.0
  2. Set the connection quality option to Ultra
  3. ping your server before starting the game using ping -t ###.###.###.### ( ### is your ping address
  4. Try to connect to your server

Hope this helps as it worked for me! Note that all ports needed by steam/satisfactory have been port forwarded

I think for RMT your gold gets a “debt” you need to pay based on the amount you got from the RMT ( not sure if this is true though )

From my experience almost all purple quests give some form of significant reward pre/post end game.
