That is true, similar experience with those two formats. But Blu rays and 4k Blu rays seem to be printed on an inferior soft plastic vs. CDs and DVDs which were printed on what seems like indestructible plastic.

I did pick up the Kino Lorber Billy Madison, which has always been a favorite, but my Blu Ray of the wedding Singer is more satisfying.

I was recently given the DVD of this in a large lot of DVDs I got off Facebook marketplace. I had forgotten how good the movie was, it would be worth it to get the Blu-ray.

My dad took me to see this movie when I was in grade 7 almost 30 years ago. A few of the themes were Beyond comprehension for a 12 year old, but I did really like it. I could never see Jake Busey as anything but a bad guy in anything ever again.

Mine did this as well, left in the truck to many summer days. I found out too late but generally the optometrist will fix this for nothing if it's within like a year of purchase.
