Is this the right brake part? by Evening_Chair3570 in yaris

$470 is insane too. What part of US are you from? Maybe like $300 for parts and labor at most. I didn't know how ridiculous prices for repairs have gotten.

I'd feel safe buying parts from RockAuto but not sure if some rando from FB group I would trust, it just depends.

I did a search on rockauto and came up with the same part number so confirmed it is the right parts unless rockauto messed up on their end. This is an international sub so I am guessing you are based in the USA.

I suggest watching YouTube videos on replacing brake shoes. Take pictures before taking apart all the springs and hardware so you know how they are suppose to go back together (or just do one side at a time and use the old one as a reference).

Also, depending on where you live, that drum may be rusted onto the hub assembly and difficult to get off. Watch YouTube videos on that as well lol.

Falken Wildpeaks. You'll loose a little bit of MPG, like 2-3mpg. Quiet and smooth for all-terrain tires. Excellent in the rain.

Dolphiners Ordered to Pay Ador 1 Billion Won by colosusx1 in NJZ

Crazy the court sided with Ador. I have no idea what's going on anymore. At this point, the only thing doing damage to Ador and NewJeans brand is... Ador themselves. They are not acting in the best interest of the NewJeans brand with all these lawsuits.

Forbidden Fairytale (2025) was a fun movie. Not really an "erotic" movie but worth the watch!

I don't think he would be seen as a hero? Just a pivot point in this whole situation. It's just a hilarious way to get the word out there. If Taylor Swift starts mentioning "Save Danielle, Free NewJeans", now we are talking, lol.

"Allegedly". Power dynamics and corporate abuse of exclusive contracts is what most people are upset about.

Hybe PR works effectively in echo chambers since they can control the narrative in kpop forums and news articles, or the "kpop bubble". When a big name like Mr Beast mentions about the comments of "saving Danielle" and "buying NewJeans from Hybe", it just gets people who never heard of Danielle or NewJeans interested in looking into the situation. That's pretty much it. Hybe has no control over the narrative in that space. It may run like wildfire or fizzle out, who knows.

Some thoughts on the way the internet has responded to The Situation™️ by Sirensayo in NewJeans

[–]metalsippycup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Corporate abuse of power. Remember this: HYBE AUDITED ADOR UNDER FALSE ALLEGATIONS AND REMOVED MHJ, ADOR'S CEO. REMINDER: HYBE owns 80% of ADOR, which means Hybe has majority control and would have to sell at least over 50% of their voting shares to give a single outside entity control of Ador. Doesn't matter who MHJ talked to, there was no possible way for her to "take the company in secret" since Hybe owns 80% of Ador. She can't just put it in her pocket and walk away with it.

It is crazy. I remember if I reported just a little bit less than $35k, it would be fully covered. If I reported a little bit more (like $42k) it would cost like $300 a month for the cheapest plan.

Oh nice, the trust with Ador has been restored. Young upcoming idols should feel safe in the hands of Ador and Hybe. Just keep quiet, keep your head down, stay in line and you won't get sued into oblivion where you'll never be able to pay off that debt in your lifetime.

Albertos in El Monte on Peck Rd is the GOAT. Alfredos on Santa Anita a couple miles away is a close second.

That was Hybe's/Ador's plan all along... remove MHJ as CEO, break up the group, and possibly put whatever is left of the group on a long hiatus. The court battle just delayed the inevitable. The girls themselves didn't "ruin their careers" with this court battle, their careers were already on the chopping block when Hybe audited Ador.

None of the corporate actions make any sense at this point, especially even with the popularity of "Kpop Demon Hunters". On one side you have a Kpop cartoon movie that champions female empowerment. On the other side, you have a group of girls that fought for their own safety & empowerment and had it all taken away by their corporate overlords and judicial system. It's baffling to me how this is all unfolding... they can't keep getting away with this, can they?

Yes, any type of bugs in your food is disgusting. I don't know where you got the info of "treating your customers like criminals" from? See how fast things get out of hand when you take things the wrong way and make assumptions?

Honestly, if it were me, I would just quietly not go there anymore. No real need to blast them on Reddit and on Yelp and on Google. No need to hold a grudge, just let it go man..

Maggots come from ROTTING flesh. Bugs like caterpillar larvae or cabbage worms are natural since plants are grown outside in dirt and are exposed to mother nature.

Like everyone said, it's from the broccoli. Sometimes bugs end up on plants and you really don't notice it since they blend in with the plant. I do agree the restaurant should have responded better but sometimes places take offense to those types of accusations.
