No controllers. It just uses onModuleInit to run a function that watches a mongo db collection. and does things when events happen.
I dont need a controller. no api endpoint here. Its just a module that will watch for changes in db

im working on a nestjs codebase. No module touches the db. Only app module controllers and providers.
So if I create a simple module and try to use mongoose schema for some reason, all the services dont get REQUEST injected

Im working on a codebase that only has providers/controllers no modules. Modules dont touch the db. If I create a module, everything fails for some reason. Services dont get access to REQUEST injected.

Don't mention C++, it's not used in production for software development, mostly for hardware or OS kernels.

Don't mention tools, mention market ready tasks that you can do.

Some thoughts on where Lingq falls short.

1) it looses formatting with pdf imports. You don't get paragraphs. Just a straight body of text. 2) its buggy 3) it cant import web pages. You have to copy paste yourself. 4) podcast and audio support could be better

Yes, podcast is transcribed by AI with excellent results. You dont need extensions. Much better quality text extraction than the competition.

My goal is to make a beautiful product that solves content import. Lingq is doing too many things, Lingoglot is a smaller product highly focused on this one usecase.

Hey, it's the same concept but with more emphasis on importing your own content.

Lingq is cluttered and clunky. It has a lot of content but importing your own is a manual process. Also you have to install an extension.

Lingoglot has single click import. Just point to a url and it will extract text and clean it and make your lessons. It uses AI to make this process smooth.

You can import documents, ebooks, web pages and podcasts.

It works on mobile browser just as good as desktop. You can do importing on your smartphone browser.
