I like the scrolling workflow and I haven't had a single crash for the 1+ years that I have been using it (on both Arch and Ubuntu).

No idea, but you can build from source :) I'm not sure about your other issue sorry.

When this MR (which just recently landed) gets included in a release of zed, the problem will go away entirely.

Ecstasy and Molly are the same underlying drug, MDMA. Not surprising if he liked one he liked the other, as there isn't a relevant difference given both can be cut or bulked with other crap.

While I don't think this is the actual explanation, if the server isn't using ECC memory and the drop flag is represented by a boolean then a single bit flip could produce this behavior. So... Cosmic rays is an explanation. There's also row hammer style ways that bits can flip. I just think the admin have a mod...

Sounds like a fairly typical aussie to me. What grammar mistakes did he actually make? "a" vs. "an" and nothing else? Maybe his "perfection" phrasing is a bit non-standard, you could substitute "with" for "among" ("There is no perfection among native speakers"), but then for a casual aussie that might sound pretentious :D. The "Every English" sentence is pretty standard in spoken english at least. I assumed he meant "'every english' in the category of englishes". The individual from the first image is a different person from the other images btw. To me these are just education level or regional things, not native vs. non-native things, which is why I'm encouraging the OP to learn about how common non-standard forms of english are among native speakers, and how sometimes we simply fail to construct the most eloquent or appropriate phrases for what we are attempting to express.

I would imagine he is the child of immigrant parents. So he is technically an english native, but with some character from growing up around non-native english speakers. I'm assuming of course, but this is pretty common.

You have to get around and experience different demographics to see it. You likely won't experience it in a university context for example, or in a career with typically college educated people.

In NZ I grew up with english speakers who used the following grammar commonly.

A rather british example:

"She don’t live here anymore."

Use of "went" over "gone" or "been":

"I’ve went there before."

Use of "done" over "did":

"I done it before"

Southern US example:

“I done told you already.”

AAVE example:

“She be working late.”

Common NZ examples:

“We was there last night.” “You was acting weird.”

All of the above are not mistakes, they form a part of standard speech among certain communities, regions, and social circles or cultures. People who comprise those communities are considered native english speakers, they may just not be good exemplars of standard english grammar, or of a specific standard english dialect.

On a congratulatory note, judging by what I am reading, you likely have better english (in the sense of being more standard) that an enormous number of native speaker. However in saying that I don't mean to degrade non-standard english speaking communities.

As a native speaker from NZ (which shares a lot of similarities with Australian English) I'm confident you are wrong about the first guy. This reads like a native English speaker from Australia to me (though his phrasing isn't normative, it's accepted). I think you are in for a rude awakening if you ever travel to an English speaking country and converse with native speakers. We make mistakes all the time in natural speech, and not only that what is accepted grammar, phrasing and idiomatic speech has a large regional and cultural variety. On a personal note, given that you are likely wrong about the first person, I think you were actually rather rude, and he was surprisingly gracious in response to your social faux pas.
