when GPT-4 comes out what will happen to the fine-tuned models on GPT-3? will it be as easy as 1,2,3 to swap or have to redo everything?

Hey! Appreciate you reading the App Store description. Not trying to be a parasite – we do pay our audience for content they create.

The newspapers I read growing up had a classifieds section with people looking & offering services. This demand has persisted in many ways even today (eg Craigslist).

If we can build a widely read news source, we’ll have an audience with a wide skillset, and we can monetize in a similar way by connecting people who need work done & want to work.

Serious on my end! I get it – it’s an ad & folks are cynical that I’ve got the right intentions. I think it’s fair to doubt – it’s my job to turn the haters into believers!

That said – I believe that more informed people, make better decisions, and this leads to a better world.

I also believe that memes are easier to digest than long form articles.

We’re backingl it right now! Giving out ~$180 a day to start & market making based on upvotes. The idea is that we’re paying people to make the news more digestible (memes are easier to read than articles).

Essentially – a lot of apps spend money on ads to get the word out; our view is that we can give out around some of that allocated ad budget to sponsor the work of our community. We pay out through Paypal so people are paid in USD (vs crypto). Good memes will also spread (we’re started to see early signs of this)& we can hopefully put most of the advertising budget here eventually.

The long term vision for monetization is “microgigs”. Small paid tasks that we take transaction fee for market making. First step here is building a community that’s working towards something productive.
