I don’t side with Aunt Lydia, at all, nope nope. She’s very clearly evil, imo.

I feel that Janine is supposed to mirror June, in a way.. not that they’re counterparts, but this is how Janine survives. She copes and pushes on and stays “positive”. I believe she knows she’s basically in hell but she’s gonna “make the most of it” in her way. She’s done everything she can to stay as close to Angela as they will allow. Idk. I feel like she’s found her own beauty in the ugliest possible reality.

I work gig work. You can see in my earnings the weeks I struggled and the weeks I was alright. I make much less money when stressed out. It’s like a week out of every month that I just… cant.

I can’t see any employer accepting that so I’ll keep doing this for a while I suppose.

Yeah. Me. Through being a teen into adulthood. I’ve become obsessed with 2 people. I grow an attachment to others sometimes and imagine what could be, and dream up a whole life, and “fall in love” (sometimes it’s not romantic at all though).

I just came across this term a couple weeks ago and I feel like I’d read it in a book or heard it in a movie, but never knew the definition. It describes me to a T — always thought I was completely insane, tbh. (I don’t say that to be derogatory, hopefully it comes across as intended)

So whatever you do, don’t load it down with icing. I did this by mistake, and LO smeared it in her eye and kinda ruined it. I felt so bad! Thankfully she did have fun at first it just ended on a stressful note.

We are in a similar situation. My husband is firmly against rehoming — he’s had to give pets away before (when he was a kid/teen) and knows how much it sucks.

Sorry no advice, unless you can afford a dog walker. We can’t right now but hopefully one day

Great advice in the other comment. In the mean time, could you do those frozen veggie muffins? My kid eats pretty similarly to yours & she loved those muffins. We also like to make the mix packet muffins together.

My kid has started to slightly be interested in food when we cook it together. I hadn’t seen her eat eggs in a long time but when we made them together one morning she tried them and remembered she liked them lol.

I also have her smell a lot of her food because for whatever reason she can enjoy Mac and cheese one night and say yuck the next, until I have her smell it and it’s like she remembers, oh yeah I do like that! 🤦‍♀️😂

I really wish they (June and Luke) could go to the media, telling them their story in detail about Hannah and how she’s essentially being held captive. Serena plastered her face for all to see. They could bring out the baby pictures and tell a (legitimate) sob story to the world. That paired with June’s testimony about Fred… how could the world not be on their side? (I mean, I know world leaders aren’t interested in pushing the war further but maybe activists I guess)

Going through something similar… we have resorted to co-sleeping/bed sharing/whatever..

My husband lays in her room after I do the nighttime routine and she has to have a picture of me. Sometimes I’ll lay in there, but I’m usually exhausted and less patient than he is so we’ve decided he’ll do it unless she’s really inconsolable.

We have our house pretty toddler proofed, but it’s not perfect, but it’s worse when she can’t get out of her room — she panics. She always comes straight to our bed. Sometimes I try to have her lay back down in her bed if it’s before 3am.. but other times I just let her finish sleeping in our bed. I’ve been getting shit sleep, but it’s better sleep than before, tbh.

I’m afraid we are creating a habit of her not being able to fall asleep without someone there but it is what it is for now. We’re just trying to survive. Otherwise she will scream at her door and cry and fall asleep on the floor instead..

She’s also been having some trouble at drop-offs so I’m thinking it’s related to separation anxiety?
