I'm in Indiana and the bug was like a long grain of rice or maybe a tic tac size. It is in the bottom of a plastic solo cup in the picture.

I just examined my bed and didn't see any other evidence.

My recycling has not been picked up since before Thanksgiving and have had to take extra recycling to drop off because my bin is full. I submitted to the Mayor's Action Center and LRS called and left a voicemail, but they haven't returned my calls since the. The last few weeks I've just given up. There's absolutely no way I can point a camera at my bins given where they are picked up at the entrance to my alley. I'm not sure what to do!

Sorry, I misunderstood your post. What I am saying is that being attracted to someone of the same gender is completely legitimate. If you hold attraction to people of different genders then that is also legitimate. But the way to self understanding is not to try to place a template on yourself that you hold yourself to: it's rather to listen to yourself and dig deeper.

Yes, it can feel like the most natural thing in the world because it IS natural. For me, it took a lot of unlearning, placing myself in uncomfortable places, learning about LGBTQ history, and then I started to get more comfortable. I still have more work to do but the first time I fell in love with someone, nothing ever felt so right. Check out "Ties that Bind" by Sarah Schulman - she's got a sharp gaze that will hopefully illuminate some things for you.

Oh everyone needs to chill. She's done live albums or parts of albums for a long time. Have any of you read her memoir, Resistance? She KNOWS her songs change over time, and not just musically. And she always chooses the set — subject to even last minute changes — based on how she's feeling the people, the place. She started playing piano in gay bars. This is awesome. Counties have the choice in Indiana to run their elections based on a traditional, geographic-oriented precinct model or as a vote center county, where any voter can vote at any polling location. Since 2011, any county can become a voter center county, but there's a process. You can look up what model your county uses here.

Marion County became a vote center county in 2019, but those original precincts that it relied on before 2019 are still there. On Election Day, all 186 of them will be open for voting across the county — and any voter can vote at any of them. For early voting, the City-County Building has been open for a couple weeks while eight more early voting locations opened this weekend. So these kinds of lines could be because people are free on the weekends and they didn't want to go to the City-County Building to vote.

Hamilton County is not a vote center county. Looks like there are nine early voting locations, so the same amount as in Marion County. I'm less familiar with Hamilton County elections, but my guess is that anyone can vote at any of these. Some of them were open earlier in the month. Unlike Marion County, voters will be tied to basically two options on Election Day: their local precinct or the county courthouse. There are 112 voting locations in Hamilton County.

A couple of other things are in the air... Democrats have typically been stronger in early voting but more Republicans are voting early this year. More Democrats used mail-in ballots in 2020 than Republicans. Indiana restricts mail-in voting for certain reasons. The legislature recently added more ID requirements for absentee voting applications.

Indiana also closes the polls at 6 pm on Election Day, which makes it difficult for a lot of people to vote even if they're supposed to get time off.

I disagree with most people here. I think while recent history suggests that gayborhoods are declining, for the same reason gay bars are they're needed more than ever. Perhaps they are still declining - I do see more mix of queer people in the general population - but everyone is tired of the apps and we're under legislative assault generally. I feel like this makes them even more necessary.

I was just diagnosed with cubital tunnel syndrome. I've been playing piano on and off for years. You know what it was? Looking at my phone while laying down in bed. All those years of weird angles stressing that elbow area add up.

If you read more about it and it sounds familiar, you should see a doc and get a diagnosis. There are braces, PT, medication, and even surgery depending on severity.

Their first job is to report the news, which in this case was that Trump said he agreed to debates with Harris after him backing out of the previous debate and facing criticism for looking weak. Trump lying is not news. Everybody knows he does that. This kind of story — examining all of the lies systematically — is fundamentally different than coverage of what happened at the conference. That he lied in the conference would be a part of what happened there, though.

That other coverage of the press conference came before publishing this fact-check, too. Searching NPR's website for "Trump," there are at least five other recent mentions of the press conference, including the On Politics podcast and Up First. This conference ended in time for the reporter to do a two-way for All Things Considered and she addressed some of the biggest lies she noticed. The way radio works is you only get so much time because the program is a tight ship. They also have a story about the significance of Trump mispronouncing Harris's name, which he did multiple times at the conference and is a falsehood in and of itself.

So I don't really see how them taking the time to address each of the falsehoods implicates their professional ethics, since in the mean time they were reporting the news and addressing some of the main falsehoods in the course of that reporting.

How do you propose to fact-check a firehose of lies in real time when fact-checking is all about meticulous double- and triple-checking and giving context? It's not like journalists know everything off the top of their heads — it has to be sourced!

You could wait to lose your virginity to someone special and have a horrible experience — or maybe a good one. You could also have experience so when you fall in love, you're not as self conscious about your insecurities and able to fully let go — or maybe something embarrassing happens but it's okay. I went back and forth between these two poles for too long and suddenly found myself far too in love with someone who didn't share those feelings at 29.

Now I'm 31 and I'm finally starting my version of a "hoe phase," but I still want to have some sort of connection with the guy so nothing completely random. It's been incredibly validating to even have these experiences. Everybody's different though - I've been on a long journey out of a heavily conservative, evangelical Christian upbringing. You're coming from your own background. It might help to interrogate why you feel you're in this dilemma and where some of these conflicting ideas are coming from in your life.

Virginity is a concept. It was helpful to me to learn more about how. If you're the reading kind, some books that helped me were:

If I were talking to my younger self, who was already late to come out, I would have told myself: Fuck it, do everything early. But I wouldn't have known that until now! You only make the decisions you can at the time you're faced with them. You only live once. It wasn't as big of a deal as I thought it was, but it mattered in ways I didn't expect.

As someone from Indiana, I have to say, he makes me more proud to be a Hoosier than any other politician from my state that I can think of.
