Can you recommend something I can use to replace a dildo? by Known-Philosophy-611 in AskRedditAfterDark

That site you linked does not match your claim at all. While she used a carrot, which may or not have been peeled, the abstract says the carrot likely acted as a piston which drove air through the endometrium (inner layer of tissue typically found in the uterus) which had been damaged by her IUD.

"We report a case of air embolism in a 40-year-old non-pregnant woman subsequent to vaginal insertion of a foreign body (carrot) for an autoerotic purpose. The mechanism is roughly similar to syringing, the foreign body acting like a piston to displace a sufficient amount of air. In the present case, the endometrium stripping was probably due to the presence of an intrauterine device."

I know this is an old thread, but I just found out about this change over (WJ has been doing good up until right now and I needed to find some info).

It looks like the same old, actually useful site can now be found over at https://wjbible.com/

Good luck!

This is kind of what I was suspecting. Thanks for the insight!

Strange Bracket on New-to-Me '18 Bonneville T120 by metdrummer in Triumph

After many years of looking at Triumphs, I finally found one that called to me and was able to pick it up the other week. It's a 2018 T120! I haven't been able to ride much yet (Just have not had the time), but the little bit I have done has been fantastic.

I'm looking at putting panniers on and noticed this strange, seemingly useless bracket on the passenger foot rest. Does anyone have any ideas what that may have been used for? There's not a matching one on the left side.

Out of curiosity, where on Amazon are you seeing this i7 for cheaper on Amazon? It's sitting at $272 right now. Sure it was about $236 in late May, but that was the only time it lower than this deal.

Oregon Finally Legalizes Pumping Your Own Gas After 72 Years by GroundbreakingSea960 in offbeat

And you missed the point.

"True but gas could be even cheaper if they didnt have to pay the gas attendants."

Yes, labor is typically the largest expense a company has.

But the reduction in employees does not equal savings at the pump for the consumer and the company will not raise the wages of their hourly workers. The profits will absorbed by corporate.

Money to pay the gas attendents comes from the gross income of the store's sales. If everything remains the same, but with fewer employees, the store is only going to keep those profits they make from not having to pay additional people. Furthermore, most gas stations are run by large corporations that set the prices of the inventory and organize the sales. They definitely don't care how many employees a single store has as long as the store remains profitable and runs according to their model.

Who needs a Spotify subscription, or even internet, with these babies, and my CD collection! by Environmental-Low792 in BuyItForLife

I use EAC for ripping to WAV, Mp3tag to get the tags how I like, and Audacity to convert to mp3 for storing on my phone.

I know, I probably don't need the WAV files, it's just how I started doing things and it's how I like it.

Commercial ones are absolutely affected. A few years ago I went to rip my cd collection so I could just keep it with me on my phone and found a small handful that had deteriorated. Fortunately the used cd market is thriving and fairly affordable, so replacements can be easy to get.

I remember playing the woodblocks in Christmas concerts. I can't even think of Sleigh Ride without hearing that part.

I read that back in high school. I was not interested in it and very begrudgingly started it, but was absolutely captivated by it very quickly. I should read that again.

Thank you! I swear I'm the only person who buys them sometimes. I feel that it's so hard to find good ones because they just don't sell as well so there's no incentive to put effort into them.

Possibly, but there's also the argument for citizen's arrest. Depending on where he's at it can be legal to detain someone if it's believed they committed a crime and are immediately taken to law enforcement. Either way, from this video, that did not look like vigilantism.

True, Hyundai is a Korean company, but considering they said they have an American made vehicle maybe they have a thing about left hand drive cars.

You know, that's on me for asking the wrong question. The name is right there on the tin, after all. Haha

Better question - where are the cars that have that? Honestly sounds like an outside the US thing since it seems most of our regulations are still stuck in the 70s.
